Support the Dream Fund

Did you know undocumented students are unable to apply for many of the types of financial aid college students rely on for funding their education?

I have the privilege to meet these students and hear their stories of overcoming so many barriers to pursue their education. Often they just need a little extra help to get by, and the Dream Fund can help.

Eligible students can receive a grant to provide financial assistance for housing, groceries, books, medical or dental care, or other extenuating emergencies. The fund is available to students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals ("Dreamers"), undocumented students, and students whose Temporary Protected Status has ended.

By donating to the Dream Fund, you not only provide students with financial support, you are telling them they are valued members of the University of Minnesota community.
